Reer SSC stands for Sool, Sanaag and Cayn. Although Warsengali normally use Maakhir there was some support in earlier times.

Politically we are seperate, Sool is split between Puntland/Somaliland, Cayn is independant and Sanaag is part of Puntland.

It is just a short term way of saying reer Waqooyi Harti, just like Harti in Kismaayo had another term.
