Ina Samatar lost 14,086 votes in Awdal and Maroodi Jeex because he failed to reconcile with Ilma Xamuud who control Reer Maxamed affairs and had Saylici on a leash which they used to gain some votes from his Jufo due to his endorsement. It all happened very quick when they seized control of Hilaac and eventually gave it back then to buy Barwaaqo from Gaboose for several million dollars.

Hilaac would’ve still failed due to the lost GB votes that went to Kaah, Kulmiye and other small Ururs.

181k registered voters but only 80+k voting is just utter ridiculousness. Those who didn't vote are also responsible. Barwaaqo was a mistake. Seriously this is Reer Awdal's own fault. They can't blame anyone else. They had the numbers to easily see through their party but chose to play jufo politics. Typical. They'd deserve it really.

Ahmed Ismail Samatar played a smart game. He made an alliance with Kulmiye to also secure votes in Maroodi Jeex and Saaxil where he did relatively well. But Barwaaqo was the dagger in his back lol.
