Congrats to the man, to go out to Doha and front run a 27:5 is very impressive. This was part of the Doha marathon day programme. Here’s to hoping he can get his way onto bigger races with faster athletes.

Also worth noting that Hamse Haibe kid is Somali too. So that’s 6 in the top 11. We got some solid talent man

How big is the Doha marathon?

Not that big. Weather is way too hot to runn2 hours in. Prize money is good though. Too early on in the season, and no chance of PB means the best stay away. Usually the slower runners looking to make a bit of extra cash.

He didn’t run the marathon though, was just a side event. The athletics federation doesn’t bother to put them down for the best events because that place is tuug central
