I find the argument of “why should we care about the ummah, Arabs don’t care, why should we” to be the most childish argument ever.

I honestly do not care if the entire Muslim world decides that they’re gonna turn their back on Islamic solidarity. After all, isn’t the point of Islam, following what is in the deen, not what people do.

If the whole world decided to become non-Muslim, are we now gonna be like “why are worshipping Allah, not even the Arabs worship them”.

It gives off insecurity and it just shows you guys are more concerned about what Arabs are doing than what you are doing in your one life on this earth.

In some contexts yes, in others no. If my country is committing an injustice, I will stand against it.

For example, if Somalia was selling weapons to Israel, I would stand against it. If Somalia collaborated with the oppression of the Uyghurs or the Rohingyas, I would stand against it.

Yeah it stems from two things

1. Irrational anti-arabism no matter what happens in the Arab world they will see it in a negative light and impose responsibility onto everyone as if they even make up a quarter of the ummah.

2. A lack of understanding of muslim history. The muslim world has been fragmented many times and this isn’t the first time we were divided.

Think of Salahudin before he even fought the crusader he was fighting against other muslims in order to unite them under a single a flag as he thought they were capitulating to the Christians.

The Ummah died with the Ottomans, and the Arabs backstabbed them for their own greed and splintered it.

Arab nationalism is routed in western meddling.

I also hate that that argument where they see a hate comment from Muslim ajnabis than be quick to try and distance themselves and others from the ummah .

Other Muslims have it much worse . When that whole World Cup Qatar fiasco happened the only people defending south asians were non Muslims even other asians went out of their way defending Qatar .

It’s not a secret that we need a lot of fixing as a ummah

The Muslim Ummah has been divided for centuries tbh. A Quick Look at early Muslim history will show it was a succession of Muslims vs Muslims for much of our history.

In saying that, it’s simple. The Quraan and various hadith talks about Muslim brotherhood and the Muslim Ummah being a united body.

You either believe in your religion or you don’t. If you do claim to be Muslim, then the idea of the Ummah cannot be ignored.

Those who make the mocking statement "ma ummah" whenever some tyrant and their supporters do unislamic things are falling into clear cut Kufr without evening realizing it.

It reminds me of the end time ahadith when people are constantly oscillating between believe and disbelief.

There are multiple diseases at play when someone does this besides Kufr, you have Nifaq and the worst of all for your worldly life inferiority complex

If you care what other people think about you or you go out of your way to seek out their opinion, that's text book inferiority complex driven by a low self-esteem, you have dishonoured yourself after Allah has honoured you.

Your faith should be unwavering even if your entire family apostates.

The ummah is very real but before that perhaps try unite your own people who are 100% muslims, if you’re unable too do that then why do you guys keep making post after post about this?

both of the sides discuss the ummah > both talk about arabs 24/7. You think arabs are worried about you guys? Start islamic solidarity in your own group before you can extend it to others if not ur to 0 help.

alot of you guys are hypocrites, only see you on the ”ana arab” post when someone insult arabs then its path to becoming a kafir , but not when its internal FKD & people insult their own somali muslim people then your missing in action or you are involved in the FKD yourself, just be true to urself dont beg it.

Arab nationalism came to being after a Turkish nationalist masonic group called Young Turks came to power through a coup and transformed the sultanate into Turkish only Empire with western ideas led the Arabs to form their own political movement or group to counter the racist polices of the newly established regime in Istanbul
