Interesting perspective. With the way skin bleaching took off in Africa, wouldn't be shocked. East Asians being the social darwinists might pioneer this. A lot of them might gonna look like a Nazi's wet dream in a few decades.

 
I feel like gene editing should only be allowed for medical reasons such diseases, handicaps etc. Not for aesthetic reasons, changing people's ethnic-phenotypes is unnatural and unethical. Also as the person above me said it will definitely be Asians not Africans.

It's the next obvious step for everyone towards a cyberpunk future. Transracialism is the future.
 
Yeah then we're doomed as a human race, there is this unspoken rule to never mess with nature or death nothing good will come out of it.
We already have and its already been prophesied that people will be doing this and genetically/cosmetically modifying themselves as they wish in the future.
We already live it with transgenderism and cosmetic surgeries
