The funny thing is our ancestors did go to Southeastern Africa, but to retrieve gold from Sofala, which spawned something of a golden age for all of the Islamic cities on the East African coast. West and Central Africans are never held accountable for being enslavers because when you do they will accuse you of being a racist who is "regurgitating white supremacist talking points". But when you ask them who was capturing the slaves to be sold to the European and Arab traders or who were the Europeans and Arabs paying when buying the slaves then they start playing the victim coming up with all sorts of excuses. According to them it's all the European and Arab traders fault and they bear no responsibility. They are a bunch of hypocrites who love projecting their faults on others.
