Somalis were once part of an ancient civilization that thrived in the vast jungle valleys of Nyx'tara, a land now swallowed by time. Legends say our ancestors angered the gods by unlocking the secrets of the Eclipse Wells—mystical pools of obsidian liquid that allowed them to glimpse into possible futures.
Fearing that mortals were never meant to wield such power, the gods cursed the Somalis, severing them from the fabric of history itself. Their cities crumbled overnight, their names erased from stone and memory. The few who survived were cast into the twilight realm of the barren dessert of East Africa and cursed to do endless battle with a raw meat eating race of mountain dwellers.
