Does any one know some of the rulers of Ajuran
Sarjelle Gareen, Faduma Gareen, Umar Gareen, Olol Dinle. The entire male part of the dynasty most likely could be reconstructed by retracing the royal lineage of the latter Sultan who was active as late as the 20th century, and if he is not from a cadet lineage then the line of succession should be pretty straight forward all the way back to when the Ajuraan were still in power. There is also Imam Yacquub of the Hiraab Imamate who was the son of an Ajuraan Imam’s daughter and should be considered a cadet lineage.
This is one of the rare cases where I do appreciate the Somali tradition of abtirsi.
Was sarjelle himself a sultan? I know he gave birth to the royal dynasty but i think it starts with umar, not too sure tho.Sarjelle Gareen, Faduma Gareen, Umar Gareen, Olol Dinle. And the last one which I'm not really sure about, in the futuh a country called Al Hawiya is mentioned
View attachment 319655
And it have a ruler (Sahib can be translated to Lord/ruler) called abu bakr

First 2 are from Shariif aydrus book while the last is the futuh, I'm going off @Garaad diinle hypothesis of Bilad Al Hawiya=Ajuran btw.
It would've been nice if we had a genealogy mentioning all these names tbh.
Wallahi i knew you would say that, saxib don't ruin this thread with another unrelated discussion, i made this claim searching if there are ajuran rulers with that name to support my view so if you can't contribute to that leave it.Bilad Al Hawiye is the Hawiye side of Harar specifically Hawiya Guda district. Is Qundhura is where awoowe Hawiye himself is buried. The areas of Hawiya Erer, Ali Keno and Awsharif are names of old Karanle figures buried near Harar and part of Harar special admin zone which is chartered like Dire Dawa. Abu Bakar the judge the cousin of Gurey.

I've already seen this before so you don’t have to repeat it again and again.
I'm not trying to be offensive, btw. I've seen these before, and I'm certain it's quite plausible. What I'm suggesting is to avoid repeating yourself.Don’t get jealous. I’m correcting you by feeding you usefull information. Don’t try fabricate history. It’s pointless.
Brother no offence but you have a lot of studying to do.
Biladul Hawiya is Qundhura Hobat Hararge not ajuran
Ajuran were part of maqdishi,
Not relevant to futuh, only early ifat history

When Garad Abun suceeded to rule Adal after Mahfuz, Garad Ibrahim moved from Sim to Hobat for 3 months, while the son of Mahfuz ruled Sim. Then when Garad Ibrahim and Abun were martyred they were replaced by Emir Abu Bakr and Imam Ahmed respectively since Imam Ahmed use to return to Hobat during his beef with Walashma

I will repeat myself 1000x times if I have to correct someone. That Abu bakr you are seeing in futuh is a big character in futuh. Its emir Abu Bakr of Hobat son of Gasa Omar. Bilad Al Hawiye and most of the towns and villages mentioned in Futuh are located in and around that general region.I'm not trying to be offensive, btw. I've seen these before, and I'm certain it's quite plausible. What I'm suggesting is to avoid repeating yourself.
I'm searching for an Ajuran ruler with that name to support my view, and I'm not again dismissing your point.
How did I know Step a Side will come in and claim Ajuuran was Mursade. Everything was Murusade according to this hotep from Adal to Hobyo to Ajuuran to anything significant
wE WUz..... What a bunch of fake revisionist history....Rulers of Hobat, majority of Adal and almost all of Awsa Imamate were Karanle Hawiye. I know it hurts some people but facts are facts
I can tell your hurt by it because no one even mentioned Ajuuraan or Murusade.
Adal is 90% darod jaberti.Wasn't adal karanle? (Sorry if I am mistaken I am quite uneducated on somali clans)

Looking at historical maps and sources-- It's a multi-ethnic empire with Somalis at the head, with northern Dirs and Karanle Hawiye making up the Somali part. When it comes to the tribal lineage of the ruling sultans oral and written history diverge, while sources do point to the ruling clans, at least during the infamous time of Ahmed Gurey, being Karanle Hawiye and many of ruling class coming from northern dirs and karanles.Wasn't adal karanle? (Sorry if I am mistaken I am quite uneducated on somali clans)
