I don't want to slander the Shaykh in that video but as @SULTAN1 mentioned, he's a critic of the Muslim brotherhood which might explain his criticism of Aljazeera and accusing them of being "controlled by Zionists" which I don't think there's any evidence to make such a claim. Also just looking at one of their videos, The youtube channel you posted seems to be a Madhkhali Pro Saudi propaganda channel praising the Saudi royal family and slandering the Ottoman empire, that's if you check some of their videos. My advise to you Omar is don't buy too much into conspiracy theories and stay away from Madhkhali and Saudi propaganda.

I don't know what the context behind what Morsi said but Morsi was a fan of the Islamic Sharia in his speech to his people. I don't want to speak on the dead but May Allah have mercy on Morsi and grant him Jannah.

He says in this speech: "This nation will enjoy a blessing and a revival only through the Islamic Sharia"



As for my personal opinion, I'm not supporting any movement and I'm not saying you should support any movement. The average Muslim should just practice his Islam in peace and leave the complicated affairs (such as Social and politics) to Allah. As long as you try to worship Allah to the best of your abilities, gain as much knowledge and spread it, that's all that matters. My only point in this thread was to give an opinion on Aljazeera.

There's a difference between criticism and revolution. My point is the sheikhs views are biased and based on terrible logic. I didn't say he should start a gorilla warfare campaign like guvera i said he should "criticise" his government that's demolishing mosques and calling for a modernisation of the religion instead of spreading conspiracy theories nor did i call for democracy.

Omar, Aljazeera is not a religious channel, it's a Qatari owned Media that has stations all over the world speaking to audiences in different languages. Many of their journalists and workers are non Muslims. It's the Arab version of CNN or RT. They have their biases like any other media outlet however, in this day and age we need many news outlets so we can hear opinions from all sides. Some of these "Shaykhs" (Not mentioning names) are angry that Aljazeera destroys Saudi credibility and expose their dirty games to the world. They would prefer us to listen to their easily debunked garbage from their trash propaganda media called AlArabiya (Saudi owned). This channel (Aljazeera) causes heart attacks to Israel and it's allies in the Arab world such as Saudi (crown prince MBS) and UAE (crown prince MBZ), they're always tracking their dirty politics.
