You have to be fair though, these guys are underaged, the girl is 17 and the boy is probably a similar age. They were probably recruited to shabaab while in their early teens. So I think it's wise to give them another chance at life.

This kindness and mercy towards trained killers and brainwashed Al shabab operatives is why AS is everywhere down south.

I make a difference between the AS leaders and young kids who are brainwashed and taken advantage of to become child fighters for Shabaab. I think the latter have hope and should be given the chance to change and rehabilitate.

They’re not kids, they’ve come of age, they should be tried and convicted, thrown in jail and the more dangerous should be outright executed.
