but honestly i have my reasons for joining the raf. I was an Air cadet as a kid and really wanted to be a pilot. They gave the gliding scholarship to some cadaan boy then when I was next in line they gave it to someone newer and less experienced but this girl was cadaan. I was pissed off and obviously it was pure racism at this point because I was one of 3 madow kids there and none of us got it yet majority of the cadaans have gotten this opportunity. It scarred me on the inside and I always wanted to be a pilot. After you turn 18 you have the choice of becoming an Adult volunteer or a straight ticket to the RAF. I chose the latter as I had a chance to learn how to fly a plane for free. Only drawback is that I was effectively a soldier and had to take part in military service.

I joined for a reason which is to be a fighter jet pilot [i left cuz im not tryna be deployed to ukraine audubillah]. Others joined out of patriotism and others join because they stand for certain values. In southern Somalia these teenagers/young adults join out of poverty and not out of patriotism. My point was to cut them some slack because realistically me and you both have passport privileges and can flee whenever we want. We both have opportunities these people dont have. But obviously my point came across as sensitive and emasculating and rude which again im sorry for
