I'd sacrifice one of my nuts if it meant AS would be totally destroyed! Truly a menace! they go out of their way to make an already shithole somalia even worse.

This morning the bombed a road construction that was to link xamar to some other city(maybe jowhar). who does that? :what1:

AS are like zombies but instead of human flesh and blood, they are addicted to blowing shit and people up.
Until the government starts using barbaric methods to cleanse Al-Shabab from Somalia, we'll be here for years to come. Like I'm talking 11th century England where they crucified dead corpses in the middle of nowhere so people can take heed. When these lunatics full on believe they're going to heaven after killing innocent people, you gotta make them suffer enough to balance the thought they find solace in.

If the US drones couldn't do shit, what makes you think the Turkish drones would actually do damage? Is there something I'm not seeing here brother?
Akhi, i was talking about a scenario of taking out a gathering of thier top leadership like in this video not using it like the US in Afghanistan. Shaydan Dheere, Fuad Shongole and other kebab scum are all there for the taking. These emotional kids and thier shuban ruined the thread with "you will kill innocent people" as if i said bomb the towns. What innocent people are in a kebab conference is what i want to know.

I get you brother, but if the US couldn't find the location of these conferences, what makes you think the Turks would with their drones? That's the question I was asking. What advantage would the Turkish drones have over the current ones operated by the US?

No advantage at all, they all need intelligence to operate them. Knowing locations etc. Turkish are just cheaper.

I could agree with you but then we’d both be wrong

What's the difference between you and AS? You both believe it's ok to kill innocents if it means killing one bad guy.
There will always be civilian casualties when battling Al Shabab, whether it's a direct confrontation or with aerial bombardments. In direct confrontation, the probability of mission failure is higher than GPS led precise air strikes. The risks of civilian casualties are also high in direct confrontations.

So we might have to choose the less dangerous route since both strategies unfortunately cost civilian lives.

Yes because that’s definitely working lol. Some people claim that up to 80% of drone strikes on “Al Shabaab” targets kill civillians, and I wouldn’t doubt that figure since fighters are not allowed to stay in the same place for more than 3 hours. Civilians get killed, their brothers join Al Shabaab to exact revenge, and the cycle continues. This is Al Shabaab’s recruitment method.

Since both direct confrontations and air strikes cause civilian casualties... What's your strategy in combating Al Shabab?! Or would you rather serve them honey and biscuits and hope for them to go away??

Negotiations would be the best option for everyone, I believe that citizens would rather have an Islamic Court Union type government rather than one that installs puppet regional leaders and sends ethiopian troops to quell protests. If negotiations are made instead of Al Shabaab slowly winning over villages one at a time a lot of concessions can be made and a lot of lives saved.
