Albaabka fur or Baabka fur or afaafka fur ?

Should Somalis say ( Albaabka fur or Baabka fur ) ?

Somalis add a "-ka" ( Somali -ka which corresponds to Arabic "al-" which means "the") to the Arabic word (al-baab) .
baab is Akkadian , Aramaic and Arabic word .

( -ka is Somali masculine definite suffix ) .
in Somali ( "-ka " means "the" ) .

in Arabic ( " al- / -ال " is a definite prefix which means " the " ) .
Arabic definite prefix " al- / -ال " = Somali masculine definite suffix " -ka " .

so in Arabic " baab " means : " a door " , while " albaab " means : " the door " .

( al-baab-ka : would mean : thebaabthe ( the-door-the ) .

Somalis should say ( baab + ka : baabka ) which means : " the door " .

First Somalis have to omit "al" in ( al-baab ) .

because adding the Arabic definite prefix al- / -ال ” in a Somali sentence is grammatically incorrect , unnecessary and redundant.

This is how we say it correctly :

1- baabka fur : open the door .

[ Somalis should not say ( albaaka fur ) because "al-" is an unnecessary extra ] .

2- baab buu jabiyay : He broke a door .

or Somalis might use the Proto-Cushitic / Somali word “ afaaf / afaafka.
afaaf means : door or entrance Proto-Cushitic " Somali , Afar and Saho " .

afaaf is a door .
afaaf buu jabiyay : He broke a door .

afaafka is the door .
afaafka fur : open the door

bf ,
baab = afaaf .
baab in Semitic " Akkadian , Aramaic and Arabic " = afaaf in Proto-Cushitic " Somali , Afar and Saho " .

afaaf came from Proto-Cushitic *ʔaf-/*yaf- which means a mouth .

I disagreed.

Albaabka fur is the correct term. It is grammatically correct in Somali language.

The Al in Albaab means nothing in Somali language.

To Somali monolingual speakers “albaab” means “a door”. That is all.

this phenomenal happened in every language. It is called semantic shift.

He explains word “Los Angeles Angeles”
Which is similar to the albaab,

We can say that it was unintelligent learned borrowing.

Learned borrowing ( scholarly borrowing ) is the intentional adoption of a word from one language into another without going through natural language contact.

irida iga fur. Usually what I say

il / ir / fr / sr : Opening of the human body in general, including eyes, ears, nostrils, the vulva , entrance to ( a house , a place , a building ... ) , word comes from a ( mouth ) .

il : eye .
il+ ta =ilta ( isha ) : the eye .
il / irsrsar / san : nose .
il / irsrsar siil : vagina / vulva ,
( waa meel furan / saran ) .
il / ir + da irida : door / entrance .
il / ir / fr " fur " / sr " sar "ilaf ( furan ) : mouth .
il / ir → ( eray ) : word ,
( eray : a word comes from an opening / hole
" mouth " ) .

il / ir / sr / frdhg : dheg : ear .
