Am I overspending?

So roughly more or less I spend anywhere from 90 bucks up to 160 per week on food. That's grocery shopping and takeaways. My addiction to takeaway isn't going away.

Not frugal but also not outrageous. Some people spend like $200 on coffee alone and others spent $200 the entire month. You fall somewhere in the middle. Obviously you could save some money if you’re spending $160 every week but I think it’s reasonable depending how much you’re making a month.

What? If you’re living alone, you shouldn’t spend more then $150-$200 a month on food unless you have a high income.

That’s true but it’s only possible if you cook at home all meals which can be difficult esp if you work outside the home full time.

200 US dollars a month. That's about $50 per week that's impressive if you can stick to a budget of 50 bucks US dollars which is about $70 if converted to my currency. The thing is if i pick up 1kg of suqar meat thats almost 20 dollars, that leaves $50 bucks for everything it will be a squeeze but doable.

We have a store franchise in the US called “Aldi” where they sell everything for insanely cheap (good, quality organic food too) however it’s the offbrand versions.

Shit that sounds very cheap.. Where do you live? Here I can hardly make it for 400 pr. Month on food only.
lol dude wth are you spending 400 hundred on? Am not judging. I just tallied last months spending on food only which was 440 for me. Am appalled at so much wastage.
