I can't imagine what Somalia gains by sitting idle and not finding some new development partner such as BRICS and China and Russia to address areas of national priority such as economic, security, knowledge transfer?

America Foreign policy is the same architecture forever, it won't change. It's the below instruments only.

1. Public Theatrics(copy n paste Rome)
2. Sphere of Influence thru proxies, political interference, or regime change.
3.IMF and World Bank black listing any country from nation building loans to ensure the poverty trap.
4.Aid as a tool or instrument to influence or leverage as a weapon.
5. Sanctions due to their US dollar ownership which influences Swift and Banks to freeze accounts of who they desire.

Listen these guys did intervene and save Europe after ww2 with many interventions such as the martial plan.

They don't ever do this anywhere else because there no appetite for it due to their silly architecture following Roman theme of free and dark barbaric world(Roman n barbarians). But where are the Romans today?

These guys not only in 90 after Berlin wall fell, James Baker told Russia we won't move an inch east of Berlin. In the 90s they moved thru all Eastern Europe. They even set up missile launch silos in eastern europe facing Russia. They finally came for Ukraine.

If their like this with Russia who actually was warming up to them in the early 2000s as Putin wanted to join NATO and G7. They treated him like a rat a nuclear armed nation for God sakes.

In 2008 financial collapse in America it was China who bought 30% of their debt or that country would've gone into 1930 depression not just a recession of slow downs and inflation.

If China sets up a Development Bank for BRICS countries, Belt n Road(dual redundant land and maritime), Common Currency, Common transaction system and the necessary regulatory environment, they already own 30% of the global trade market and growing much faster then G7 bloc thugs who own 25% but shrinking fast.

The Brics do need to tho work on developing alliances on the spirit of country political independence and territorial integrity as enshrined by the UN, keep the WTO, and some International courts for the BRICS aligned world. They also need to resolve conflicts if they arise thru root causes not choose sides(following a win win shared losses approach) to ensure longevity and stability.

China also needs to draw the line somewhere about civilised and uncivilised rules based order for all Brics countries, they must say to each member no interference or violation of political or territorial independence as long as the country doesn't end up in conflict or commit gross human rights violations like freedom and exchange of people ideas(constructive of course), genocide, political isolation, economic isolation, infringing on language, culture and religion rights.

They really need to step in about human right issue which is hard as China is said to have its own challenges around the current definition well they can create a definition at least covers some of the basic pillars. We should celebrate diversity of political systems as ways to learn and cooperate on what works not have the same systems as the west wants. Plus they do need to ram up their information theater game which is what the west uses very well such media and internet social media even for their Roman theatrics inspired politics but now called Hollywood theatrics. We need a Chinese rival to google stranglehold on what people see and read.
