My state goverment and governor are working to strengthen state financial aid programs and work with state institutions (colleges and universities) as well as out of state higher education institutions to make it easier for minorities to get higher education and succeed in a post trump victory US. Local goverment from the state legislature and governors to mayor office and city council are " trump proofing " for the next 4 years so I'm relatively unaffected by America's choice for Trump thought I can say it looks like House Republicans are gearing up to slash an important piece of legislation that would've brought economic opportunity to my region so that's the only thing I'm concerned about.
If you live in a state that's relatively DEM leaning or DEM stronghold contact your state department of education and local goverment for questions about your future under Trumps empire.

We don't have many (new) immigrants upstate that's mostly down in the big apple. I'm hearing it's become a lucrative business for struggling hotels but there are horror stories coming out of those places they will keep you up at night.

Even Trump knows he cannot bypass our state's heavy protections which is why he is trying to find bipartisan national issues to work on while he tries to appeal to NY voters.

Our AG is also giving Trump hell on the legal front and says he won't back down regardless of his election win.
Wallahi I genuinely sympathize with the common individuals and their incoming struggles. But by God I am absolutely ecstatic about Trumpβs victory!
Iβm no Trump supporter and even much less an America lover. I wanted Trump to win because he will accelerate the downfall of America with his isolationist policies internationally and he will simultaneously stifle American growth with his ridiculous tariffs and removal of basic social services.
Trump is the personification of America and may they both fall together
People should see a Trump presidency as a social experiment.
Because it's going to provide the greatest argument and case study for centuries to come after he screws up everything so bad.

I'm not too familiar with the political implication on a state level, but I do know for sure that the tariffs on an national scale will be disastrous, can't really see how they'd be able to circumvent that.
On another point, what is the likelihood of different parts of America seceding within the next, say, 20 years or so.
We could see the return of the pre civil war nullification doctrine which ironically is more centered in republican ideals of limited goverment than Democrats heavy handed federal power support. The last time a state refused to pay tarrifs was NC v Federal Goverment and was one of the primary causes for the American civil war during the nullifaction crisis and almost lead to war between federal goverment troops and state guard and milltas.
On your second point I don't think any state can secede without immediately being thrown into collapse and thus failing. All the California Republic and 2nd Texan Republic bullshit is fake and will never happen.

We will be fine . The states have their own power. Donnie will just close the border and get rid of foreign workers . Alot of Indian doctors and IT professionals will go back to their country. More jobs for the locals.
