This reminds me why I’m glad blacks in the UK are hostile to Somalis and vice versa. They would have assimilated easy, I think its because UK Somalis are more aware of their culture and roots.

I’m somali and I will always say I’m somali first, and so does every somali I know. If you live in a predominantly somali area most would be able to tell somalis apart, but you still get the same prejudice if not worse because you’re also a Muslim and refugee along with Somali stereotypes of being uncle toms. It’s not like your European countries nor is it even like Canada. We don’t have advantages just because we have jileec hair or slim noses.
