If Cagjar returns after stifling of non party-aligned businesses, violence against/jailing of political opponents, and likely rigged elections for PP this country will return to pre-2018 status of “LF” insurgencys in every region fighting the state forces and scaring away foreign developments outside of Addis.

Kenya has adopted a form of federalism called counties which ran their own affairs.
But they dont interfere with elections on those couties nor do they appoint somali puppets for those positions also the worksers in somali counties are majority Somali unlike Ethiopia.

OLF and OFC want to compete in Amhara region in Wollo. If you don't want me to come to your kilil, just get your independence. As long as you are in Ethiopia, every Ethiopian citizen has the right to vote, to be elected anywhere in Ethiopia. Get that in your thick head. You can't discriminate anyone because of his ethnic background. That is not how democracy works. And honestly, why are you scared to death. over 95% Somalis will vote for PP or ONLF anyways and not for Ezema.

So technically can Somali parties run for elections in Afar, Harari and Dire Dawa regions to safeguard our interests there? I doubt they would let a somali party run in Dire Dawa, but maybe I'm wrong. It's suspiscious though cause amharas are a tiny minority in the somali region but their half amhara prime minister supports them. Ethiopia isn't a democracy, so this move sounds very suspiscious. This isn't like a french speaking party running in german speaking switzerland, this is he horn of Africa dude and there is no such thing as unbiased non qabilist democracy

the difference is that Kenya doesn't have a history of imperialism, Of course the kikuyus are strong in Kenya but Ethiopia is different. All the ethnic problems in ethiopia come from their imperialist past. Amharas conquered other people's land then they lost power after the monarchy was overthrown, TPLF came and ruled them from 1991 untill recently. Now amharas have a pro amhara half oromo, half amhara prime minister and they want to go back to the imperial days when they used to conquer and assimilate others

Ezema's leader Dr. Berhanu Nega is Gurage and not Amhara. The fake news addicted op at it again. In Ethiopia no one can stop any party from competing in any state and Cagjar can't stop any party from competing in Somali state. Ezema is not an ethnic based party and will compete in all states. Ezema just opened its office in Mekele, Tigray too (watch the video below). But Ezema will not get any votes in Somali state, may be < 5% in Jigjiga. That is it but it has every right to compete anywhere in Ethiopia. The op who is a staunch supporter of Abdi Iley, the butcher of Somalis in jail Ogaden is expecting from Cagjar what is not in his power but he never demanded the killing of Somalis to stop from Abdi Illey. If you don't like a party just don't vote for it. You can't prevent them from competing just because you don't like their ideology or because they are not from your tuulo. That is not how democracy works.

No matter how you spread fake news, Abdi Illey will not come back. Deal with it.
