Ancient eygptians, pastoral neoltihci and ev-12

They also show traces of post-Neolithic MENA ancestry that includes a bit of Iran_ChL-like input,
Waits isn't the iranian chacolithic period 4/5th millennium ? The pastoral neolthic is basically the end of the 4th beginning of the 3rd millennium b.c . How could a pouplation with ancestry similar to the iranian Chalcolithic travel that far of a distance in 1000-1500 years in a period where there was no horses and donkeys has just been domesticated in africa.

I suspect the Iran_Ch is mediated through Egyptian admixture.

That said, I do think the Pastoral Neolithic people contributed to the ancestry of modern Horners.
The Early PN or the regular PN? There is no way the Early PN contributed to our ancestry. They were present in Kenya even before the earliest found domesticated cows were found in the Horn.

It’s possible some SE Africans have some minor ancestry from them but it genuinely seems like they were a dead-end pop that ended up being replaced. I don’t think East Cushites like us have any ancestry from a pre-Cushitic Early PN source in the Horn

PN I think carry ePN related ancestry. They would've assimilated them

For ancestry to move that quickly you would expect to see immense after effects. I mean the only migrations that fast have been the early European farmers and the Indo-Europeans. Both times you basically had the previous pouplation basically wiped out with 90% replacement rates and it showed up very clearly in the archeological record. This type of evenr

Yet this hypothetical group who cut through the middle east into eygpt and then sudan. Didn't leave any sign of their presence except some
iran_chaoclithic-like ancestry in these pastoral neolithic individuals ?

Pre-Dynastic Egyptians picking up some Iran_Ch and J via Mesopotamian admixture fits well with the clear Mesopotamian influences you see come in full-force during Naqada II / Gerzeh which is also the period of the Uruk expansion. (4th millennium BC). I think future samples will show this. The A-Group ancestors of the pastoralists (and us) likely received this from mingling with said Naqada II Egyptians imo.
