my dad is indian. north india. both muslim but indian muslim is a lot relaxed, his parents were muslim/hindu. religions were conducive to state building whereas Arabs take their "islam" seriously and chimp out constantly. I think reputation of muslims will improve in a post oil world where Arab sheiks can't spread their cultural versions of islam across the world, preventing growth of South Asia/african countries
thats interesting sxb, i have never met an indian-somali, do you mind sharing how your parents met? was it in a western country /melting pot city for example (like many other biracial peeps)
