Another Self-declared President!

I dont get it why are they not called governors or anything similar to that. Somaliland have no part in Somalia so I can understand Somaliland leader calling himself president and if Somaliland was part of Somalia politically and all that stuff this would include them as well.

When did the federal state leaders start calling themselves presidents?

Why can't they all just themselves governors or something? Sure, the division is still there but it will look better than having 100 men running around calling themselves presidents
