Disheartening. I bet a few will be in here making excuses like they did before for drug dealers.
Police currently looking for suspects and claiming "it's too early to determine the circumstances of the shooting and whether the two were targeted". We already know they are going to move to close this case. The community knows who it was, we all know what they will try to do with the kids who shot this young man. How did I know it was Somalis shooting each other when I first heard it on the news last night when practically no information was available? The Jamaicans are not even killing each other anymore and when they were it was nowhere near this level. I would not be surprised if something like 65% of the gun violence in Toronto is Somali on Somali.

They as a community don't care about their own youth. Instead of reporting and turning these criminals in, they instead cut them tickets and rush them out of the country so they don't get the justice they deserve (not like the useless Canadian penal system actually metes out justice, as they will be out after a few years of being convicted of murder). Then these people complain that Somali lives don't matter. Why should non-Somalis care about Somali lives when Somalis clearly don't.

Its Somalis killing Somalis. I wouldn't be surprised if this shooting was in retaliation for something that happened before.

Somali lives are worthless in this city and these savages know that they will get away with it. Be careful out in these streets.
It could be anything. Even petty arguments end up in someone getting shot. Some even get killed due to mistaken identity.
