Aiming center mass is what you do if your life is in danger because you can easily miss limbs. Even when you do shoot centre mass, the adrenaline keeps them moving so they usually got a bit left in them to stab you that’s why officers shoot more than once if it’s close range. The dude had a knife and rushed the cops, they did what they needed to do
