There are some great yt channels. This gentleman makes some of the finest traditional Somali food in his restaurant, Cad & Caano, in Xamar. He and his wife run the restaurant. I ate there a few times. Check his channel out for some original ideas.




And this is a great channel, as it shares the recipe, and their selection of Oud music is brilliant.

Please note, it is Somali food, a Somali husband etc, no such thing as Somalian.
Oh btw @Nikeei this is a personal one of mine for the rice you don't have to add meat for this BUT add the normal ingredients AND add a dollop of sour cream to the side and trust me it is banging (also add a drizzle of sweet chilli sauce over the rice) and your set.

Ramadan is coming up in a couple weeks, try looking up a couple ramadan staple recipes like beef samosa (sambuus) and mandazi (buur)

Good initiative on you some very good suggestions in the thread (especially the rice and meat dishes) I'd recommend malawax as it's very simple to make and goes well with a multitude of things (especially suqaar)
