That's good but the issue is the hate is there even if we don't see it. Even if somalis mute words its disturbing knowing the hate is continous while we're oblivious.

The app is getting banned in the US and most of these videos are trends started by black Americans. Once that happens you’ll see how truly artificial this hate train was.
Even if it isn’t your ‘fault’ the number of Somalis who are just so vile and have the most idiotic yt/anti black takes is why.

what part of the uk?and who was being xenophobic? and yeah somalis faced severe xenophobia in schools back in the late 2000s and early 2010s even continuing towards the late 2010s but to a lesser extent. yeah it's only oodeys, those that cope or those that don't care about other somalis that always try to deflect my posts and is always the men who failed our name and country ufffff. Anyways bullying against somalis in school across the west is going to be rife. There needs to be helpline for our community especially in the UK where we have cudcud ridden maadows and cadaans obsessed with us. Somali parents defo need to know what's going on and analyse their children whether they're quite at home or dismissive when talking about "how's your day at school". My sister already heard stories from hooyos complaining about their children being bullied in school and this was last year imagine now? its sad to say but we went back to the 2000s in terms of us not being rated and targetted again. Never thought we would go back to raise days. Heartbreaking

We have no positivity attached to our name even chunkz isn't enough nor is he rated anymore. No one knows anything good about us other than piracy, foolxumo, benefit scroungers, racist, incels, too many children, poor country. These stereotypes was what I was hoping to banish this decade but it seems like it's made a stronger come back than ever before that it will take decades to end if we all work together to make Somalia and our community great but with the way things are going it's unlikely for a long long time (God forbid)

I know right also that other super duper viral video "when you find out infant is somali abort" has made a tragic impact to our name to the point somalis are a punching bag on social media more than Indians sinctheir hate is slowing down. It seems like our hate is thriving to no bounds and is mainly to do with our looks which hurts more.
We were being hated on long before the online trolls showed up. Those trolls are just a reflection of that. I can’t believe you guys still think this is all because of anti-black tweets.
If you were on Twitter from 2010 - 2016 you know the deal, and there was even less pushback against anti-Somali rhetoric than there is now. It's only know that Somalis are starting to wake up and speak out against it.
The anti-Somali hate online is more amplified nowadays. Back then, the anti-Somali hate translated more into real life. Those days could come back if these narratives are allowed to exist for longer.

I critique the somali online community more than any other person on somalispot, but the same mockery that we get is given in tandem with Indians, who as far as I'm aware of, only have a troll community the same size as any other, so it's not that that's causing the mockery.
Indians (south asians as a whole) are a group of people were mockery is simply socially allowed to a degree that others aren't. Therefore the notion that all of this is some type of "response" to our trolls whilst having a lot of truth to it, absolves these racist freaks to a degree I won't tolerate.
For as many people that mock us that have never met us and only have a negative experience via the internet, there are those who were raised in cities with us that have never heard these things said by our community before. If you're from the UK like me infact I'd say that up until a certain point it was us that was on the receiving end of insults and isolation (though not to the degree that UK incels would have you believe)
If they're privy enough of the somali troll community to the degree that they feel it justifies hatred of us, then they should also be privy to the fact that these same online trolls harass other somalis more than they harass ANY OTHER group. So how can they be representative of our views? They hate us too

The somali hate wasn't so severe online back than compared to now. Yes there hate was intense in real life decades ago but if this narrative continues it will enter the real world in full swing.
