YEs, there is a housing shortage in netherlands and its a small country. Since the syrian refugee crisis alot of european countries have become very harder on immigration. i don't even think in its best day they would ever pay out 1000 euro and free housing. They also allocate refugees to little cities/villages that nobody cares about.
the ones that live good are those that got disability with alot of children. Even they gotta go through many hoops to get that check.
But are you sure this is the case in Netherlands? If yes then eff it I will just go there as american living there indefinitely if I decide to live with relatives.
You are best person thanks for this beautiful info. Yeah I figured the Syrian refugee crisis from ISIS probably changed things and made it hard. In Minneapolis I see Syrians and some other Bosnian Muslims pan handling. Some maybe be Gypsies and wanting to just get easy money. They even stand with their children begging at streets because the sight of the children really makes people give money to them. Ok then guess I am stuck with Good ol America.

he went to France then he had a friend there who he left his passport and ID stuff with him then he knew that a group of refugees will reach Netherland soon so he grouped with them and act like refuges then after he got citizenship he went to the UK (of course after he retrieve his American passport)
But the other SSpot user scared me. He said he they can keep me in detention centers for two years and force teach me their language. Imagine an American dude like myself with good English and $60k in American bank account in a group of refugees that probably never saw $1k in their life and trying to get status. Lol
Same. I hate America as, I have family in the Netherlands but Iโm considering living in the UAE.

Can you blame them? People from war torn countries and low income come into their country and turn it into a war zone.

no problem. but if you want to come to europe. you should try it. i personally want to go to America and even though i will face difficulties i am going to try it in the next 2-3 years. a chang of scenery is always good.
