Anyone else have pet dogs? I'm planning on getting a German Shepherd or Doberman Pinscher?

Would depend, I've seen, with my own eyes, dogs run away from people who're being robbed.

because they are. I love my family and reer henny isn't offensive imo. My reer henny cousins are Civil/Software Engineers who make far more than I do(They make 6 figures,I'm an IT specialist who makes close to 50-55k, average for a 25 year old) . I call them reer henny because they drink. I'm not muslim anymore(I don't drink or smoke, I'm actually following plant based vegan lifestyle).

Let me tell you this though. They're far more successful than a majority of Somalis who are overly religious and work shit factory or warehouse jobs making less than 30k while having 7-8 kids. They also contribute nicely to society and aren't the types to look for handouts or welfare from the government.

Also can't get a gun because im in Canada.I'd have to get one illegally and I'm not the type to risk that gun charge case. You have to learn martial arts(I do Muay Thai/BJJ/Wrestle) or try to deescalate the situation by running.

I also live in Caledon, one of the best cities in the GTA. Very very low crime, but its better to be safe than sorry.

No one and I mean no one is stupid enough to intrude a house with a large barking dog. Unless you're really desperate for a lick, its better to hit up a house which isn't guarded properly.

pythons are very cool, what snakes would you get? I was thinking of getting a ball python

I used to take my neighbours Doberman pinscher for walkies when I was a kid. He looked dangerous but was just a sweet dopey dog.

I want to own a snake and observe its life cycle. I think they’re fascinating. Ball pythons are really good starters, I’m told, but I don’t have a preference.

I don’t have a preference for a dog either. There’s so many different types, and you have to take in to account a lot of variables. I’d do research and shop around before settling on anything.
