Anyone else notice old gen Arabian monarchs the Saudi one in particular resembled some Somalis.. the resemblance is uncanny especially the narrow face

You know what, I saw a DNA breakdown chart that said that on average, Hawiye have more of the Sub-Saharan African DNA than other Somalis, not by a large margin, but still. I think Central Somalia Hawiye.

The original stock is mostly gone, and whatever it was, it is slowly disappearing. I see my grandparents, grand grandparent, and then look at our current crop, and see stark differences from tip to bottom. I observe the same thing in all regions. Shocking!

Somalis descend from a group of MENA people in Northern Sudan who heavily mixed with Ancestral East Africans [Dinkas carry the most DNA from this group]. Somalis carry minor amounts of that Hunter-gatherer DNA from the previous people who lived in Somalia before the arrival of Cushites.

There is a minority of Atypical Somalis who look very Arabian, Suldan M A Shire is a good example. He has zero African physical traits.
