I am not into it, but if you are interested in getting started.
Take a look at recent job role listings on sites like Indeed, Monster, Reed to see what the typical tools, skills, experience, requirements etc etc are.
I would recommend to check multiple countries, from there on you should have a good idea.
You will mostly likely need to know Python, Power Bi, SQL, Matlab and so on.
