Anyone remembers Shukri Abdi case?

It's sad what happened to her but I know she's in a far better place than she ever was. Her mother was nice. And thanked me for helping out as I was in touch with a family friend of hers campaigning for Shukri Abdi. One of the girls who was responsible for causing her death has not been punished at all and in my opinion she should have at least served community service but nothing. The good thing about the case was how it brought all Somalis together and how we putted aside our differences and helped with the protest and sharing her story which in return went viral. I wish we were this united. Even ajanabis were suprised and liked how united we were. Anyways, May Allah reward Shukri family for their patience.

Sis I remember this case and I remember how distraught you were and how you were the person on this thread that would update all of us about what was happening during that case. May Allah bless you for your kindness and thoughtfulness. I don’t agree with your doomsday perspective, but you truly do love your people.

AUN. Seeing a girl who was lost due to incompetent parenting in Portugal close to two decades ago still get funded and have her name still on news reporters lips while our sister who was quite literally bullied to death forgotten is a disaster and just shows the myth of "justice and fairness", institutional racism overrides it. It really is so disheartening.

Yeah it did really traumatise me that's why I kept posting her case here.
