This isn't about Arabs this is about islam. This isn't islamic at the slightest.
Islamically cousins aren't non mahrams so you can marry them and should treat them like you would treat any other non relative of the opposite gender. Ie lowering your gaze, not touching them hugging, etc... not being alone with them and not freemixing more then what is necessary.

Somalis don’t really part take in this I would say. I just see my cousins as brothers, hug them and we all do family activities together whenever we can. And I think this is the same for most other Somalis I know. Maybe I just view it differently because we were all raised together mostly and even back home we were raised together.

Im i the only that doesnt know most of my cousins . My closest cousins live a 2 hour flight away and most of my family ended up around the world cuz of the war so i dont even have any close relations with any of them.I always see vids of somalis having fun with their cousins online but i dont relate to any of it
