Im Ogaden brother. I just want to return to our original culture and language (Ogaden Arabic) instead of the recent African influenced culture Somalis have adopted

There is no such thing as Ogaden Arabic and there is no 'African influenced culture'

We have existed for at least 2.5 to 3 millennia as a distinct independent people with our own culture and customs and our history is rooted even further traceable to some of the oldest civilizations on Earth. as Look into archaeology and ancient history we are not orphans with no ancestors or heritage. For heavens sake we still use the same word for ruler our ancestors did thousands of years ago and you want to abandon it all because according to you 'African' is bad. Nothing wrong with Arabs lakiin abandoning your heritage is uncalled for and claiming other people is wrong. Waa xanuun waxan aad wadiid.

I think you don't speak Somali and weren't exposed to the old literature folklore and poetry. That's the only way someone would believe this.

Even during the times of "jahiliyah", Somalis were monotheist who believed in One God...whilst the Arabs were pagan idol worshippers who asscoiated God with partners.

They were also burying their daughters, killing each other over tribal blood feuds and were seen as irrelevant barbarians by much of the world.

And right now they are twerking for American dollars whilst they're brothers in Palestine get destroyed and genocided.

How did they save us?
