Cadaans already think Muslims have too much power in the UK even though we don’t. Muslims should have more influence in the UK due to sheer size, future population projection and what we bring to the economies of the major cities. I don’t believe Hijab’s tweet is going to increase Cadaan resentment of Muslims more than it already is; in fact, it will continue to rise even if every Muslim never breaks a law and puts the English flag on their houses. In the current climate, where you have Elon musk tweeting vitriol about Muslims in the UK-I don’t believe a YouTuber is going to inflame the situation any more than it is already is.
I don’t see it as a threat, rather more of a bold statement which will make many people think.I think it is good for Muslims of influence to speak with a bit of cizza (honour) even in times of weakness. It is a welcome change from the grovelling, apologetic imams of the past decade. Many Somali dawah are much better alhamdulillah. Many of these people forgot how dawah should be done I had an issue with them for many years.
