If you've actually lived in Egypt you'll see that the average Egyptian is actually dark brown and looks mixed. When I lived there, pretty much everyone was darker than me. Most people also have curly hair and some even have afros. They don't all look like typical arabs, if you're Somali but not darkskin you won't stand out tbh.
You also get really pale and white passing ones who I believe are the ones with greek ancestry.
And ofc there are actual black people like Nubians Sudanese etc.

Yes same experience but since I went to to a rich peoples school most people were lighter than me due to their Greek and Turkish ancestry however the common Egyptian had a similar skin tone to mine

There is no such thing as a ''black native North African''. The black looking ones are descendants of slaves or immigrants. Ancient North Africans looked similar to the Druze or Sardinians.

That's not true. Most Egyptians look similar to Palestinians who are also at the same level of Sub-Saharan ancestry as them (15%). Most of the Arab world got heavily blackified over the centuries since Islam instead of any Arabization they became blacker due to the slave trade.

Nope I've found that Palestinians are much lighter and look more like other Levantines eg Lebanese more than Egyptians.
This is from my own personal experience but from what I saw 40% look mixed (black + arab) and 60% look completely arab or completely white.

I already came to that conclusion way back in 2012 when I saw Coptic genomes on 23andMe. They were extremely Middle Eastern and significantly less African than the Arab Muslim Egyptians.

Now years later, studies are rolling out confirming my thought.

There are many black native north africans, Thats why many arabs in north are mixed with black dna. A example is native tribes in Libya, West Egypt

i've seen egyptians with green eyes, olive skin and rough african hair, I've seen browner ones with large noses and straight hair, I've seen ones who look steryotipacally north african, and ones who look more lavent, I've also seen ones who look like north sudanese people but light skin. they are a bunch of mutts. it would be ignorant to only call them black or white

That guy is completely Caucasoid. Nothing Sub-Saharan about him. The tan is from the sun, not Negroid ancestry.

Have you seen Egyptians living in the West? They are the same skin tone as Arabs. They aren't magically more Negroid than them. Moroccans are actually the most Sub-Saharan of all the big North African countries.

It is a race aka an ethnic group, although most Egyptians are either mixed with Arabs or not Arab at all but Arabized.

We are very dark actually, But not like the south sudanese. We're maybe 2 shades lighter than them, But its not a bad comparison

Wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong..

Nilotes are not the 'black' ancestors of Horners. They are from what is now the Central African Republic/Southwest Sudan. They aren't the ancient inhabitants of the Horn. Modern Nilotes carry lots of lineages and markers totally absent in the Horn. They are not our forebears at all.

their actually oddly lighter. the ones i know of live in hot places like australia. the ones in canada (I've only seen one) are helllaaaa tall but a lot lighter, like dark chocolate shade
