their actually oddly lighter. the ones i know of live in hot places like australia. the ones in canada (I've only seen one) are helllaaaa tall but a lot lighter, like dark chocolate shade
Lol I disagree. Every South Sudanese person I've met has been shockingly dark and the UK is cold af. I agree Somalis are dark but not to that extent, and there are a wide variety of shades for Somalis from dark to light whilst South Sudanese are pretty much all blue-black

There is a smaller genetic distance between Norwegians and Sri Lankans than between Somalis and Bantus. So much for being fellow African brothers. Get out of here.
You'd rather share dna with white people then? Like it or not you share more similar dna to Bantus than white people and arabs.

Even that's not true, surprisingly.
Somalis are pretty much equidistant from Bantus and Arabs genetically, but our ancient West Asian admixture skews us slightly closer to Arabs and even Europeans.

@Knowthyself you can argue these people all day if you want to, They'll always find a way to say we're arabs :ivers:

Are you dense?
It is a scientific fact that Somalis and other Cushitic group have very very very ancient West Asian (PRE ARAB) admixture.
It isn't Arab DNA. That's why many Somalis have T and N haplogroups and not J. It's really, really ancient Levantine admixture.
We aren't Arab. We have 0% Arab DNA. You're putting words in my mouth to fit your narrative.

@Amun and quite a few other users can back me up on this.

Its not about wants...but facts. You on the other hand is operating from emotional pro black viewpoint. Its not even about claiming arabs or whites. You dont look like a bantu. So you are obviously not the same as them. We are not white or arab either. We wuz geeljire now and then.

Modern egyptians are Arabs, turks & greek...

Ancient Egyptians were cousins of horn of africans. By modern standards they'd be considered "black".

Case closed.

Modern day (and in turn, I guess the same can be said for the Ancient ones too) Egyptians are NOT monolithic though...
What is considered a "true" modern day Egyptian?? What does he or she look like? Would we all share the same stereotype and imagine the same faces if someone told us to describe an Egyptian? Is popular culture and what the media presents the authority over the "Egyptian look"...and how accurate is that?? The truth is Egypt is composed of different ethnic groups (due to its historical admixture with many nations in proximity; Persians, Romans, ancient Greeks/Macedonians, Ottoman Turks, Gulf Arabs/Bedouins, ancient Nubians, Berbers, etc) and the differences in features/color will also reflect that. [Also, there is no such thing as a single black race]

like maybe by half a shade. dont compare these euro somalis that spend 65% of the year in winter without sun. the ones back home are all blick

somalis, just like all cushitics have nilotic in them. we resemble them in every way other then facial features. somalis with "soft" hair are a minority

You're confusing the word "Neolithic" for "Nilotic". Most Horn of Africa people do not have Nilotic DNA, the ancestors (talking about at least 50k years ago) were hunter gatherers that resemble the San-Khoi of South Africa. These people still live in parts of Kenya and Somalia, but have adopted the cushtic languages of their neighbors. But have a drastically different appearance than them.

Ancient Egyptians were 0-1% Black.

Modern NORTHERN Egyptians are 18% Sub-Saharan. 18 times more ''African''..

This "study" is obviously propaganda. The "scientists" who published this project said that their results are most likely not the true representation of Ancient Egypt.
Do you consider the Nubians as black? If so, you should know that Ancient Egypt began in the South. Its precursor civilization was Ta-Seti. Ta-Seti was part of Northern Sudan and Southern Egypt. According to these "scientists", Egyptians are related to everyone around them except the Nubians under them who were part of the Egyptian society like the Medjay (Beja).

  1. Adeer, what you forgot was that the Bantus also have the same origin as us. They are E1b1A and we are E1B1B. We have the same ancestors.
  2. There are scientists who are now beginning to believe that the E haplogroup originated in East Africa and then went to the Middle East.
  3. How can you say that we are closer to Arabs and Neanderthals who have completely different haplogroups, than we are to our African brothers?
