Is this any different from a guy who is rude, unkind, manipulative and a degenerate believing he "deserves" a loving, kind and devoted woman whom he also finds very attractive? There are plenty of women who are the female equivalent of that. Nasty personality, don't have their life together, over dysfunctional and, perhaps by no fault of their own, not conventionally attractive which probably wouldn't even matter as much if they were a better human being yet they're a narcissist who feels entitled to the "best" type of man possible. Don't pretend such women don't exist.
Machiavellian types, Borderlines, Narcassists, Sociopaths and Psychopaths ring a bell.
Pretty crazy stuff, to be honest. He seriously can't seem to understand human emotions like why one would cry over a relative dying. I can only imagine the number of people he's mindfucked over the years without a care.
Damn, I didn't know it was that deliberate, that they were so self-aware about it. I remember one doctor saying sociopaths are made from the environment while psychopaths are born. Imagine not having the traits critical to the human experience and not even feeling anything about it. To me, that predicament is sad as shit, but they wouldn't care.

I’d imagine psychopathy makes life easy.Damn, I didn't know it was that deliberate, that they were so self-aware about it. Maybe easy, but they can't experience the richness of life like the average person.I’d imagine psychopathy makes life easy.

I don't think people like him pose much of a threat to you if you're able to keep up with them intellectually whilst being able to physically dominate them if need be. He looks for emotionally weak/vulnerable people, he actually said so himself.

Funnily enough I remember reading/hearing somewhere that psychopaths and sociopaths actually serve an evolutionary purpose.
I'm naturally suspicious of people outside of my immediate circle so I keep everyone at arm's length anyway. A person like him only has ammo because people likes to vent and air out their dirty laundry when they need a sympathetic shoulder to cry on. I'll suffer in silence if I know someone doesn't have my best interest at heart. If you have a good support network around you, people like him scatter like the emotionally vacant roaches they are.We all have weak points. The scary thing about people like him, is that they actively sniffs out, look and assess people's week points. Regardless of how 'strong' you are, you need to keep psychopaths at arms lengh. It might take longer for them to take advantage of mentally strong individuals, but one ch*nk in your armer and they're pouncing.
Also, the last part is interesting. What evolutionary purpose do they serve?

Oh and it's something to do with them being able to handle periods of extreme turmoil or some shit.
That's a good approach to life.
The crazy thing with psychopaths is that they can be very charismatic and likeable. Very easy to end up befriending one...or worse, get into a relationship with one. God forbid!
I honestly think that should be the default tbh. It doesn't matter how charismatic or likeable people are when I first meet them. I come to a judgement on their character based on their actions and how they move. Disingenunous people and people with ulterior motives have a habit of fucking up.That's a good approach to life.

It's funny that you say that. There was a cadaan guy who went to my gym years ago. He'd always make a big song and a dance about greeting me, "hey man, fucking been ages mate, how you been man, you're putting on some good size, what's your deadlift like now?" etc, never-ending praise basically.Agreed. I strongly recommend you guys read The Sociopath Nextdoor. They are exceedingly good at playing a role. Cracks start to appear only after knowing them very well. As @Nak-Muay-Kru said, they prey on people without a strong base of support or remove them from their close persons (by isolating them to control them more). Even a balanced, high functioning and empathetic person isn't immune since anyone could be at a vulnerable place in their lives. The most consoleable thing the guy in the video said is don't blame yourself. Anyone can be fooled.
Never give people ammunition to use against you and always try to be diligent. Be very wary of excessive praise without knowing you very well (they do things with an end). Or people who mine for intel (asking intrusive questions without building rapport). In general, if you must deal with them do so by speaking to their self-interest. Statistically, they are mostly men but women psychopaths and sociopaths m (aka people with Anti-Social Personality Disorder) exist.

If you were an outside observer you'd think we were lifelong friends, but I barely knew the guy. I always felt uneasy around him wallahi. No matter how much he'd smile and laugh it just felt "off" somehow. His eyes gave it away, they were just cold and vacant. Creepy fucker all round.
I think we're biologically hardwired to sniff these sorts of people out wallahi, it's just innate to human beings considering how much of our communication is non-verbal. Unless you're autistic and have a hard time understanding social ques, in which case you're fucked lol
