I finally get @Destiny now. On top of daddy issues, she’s mad that she can’t get a man to commit. Nobody sees her as wifey material I guess. They just want to get some free malab and think she’s easy pickings. Getting touched up by random men and invited into their crib... Sis, that’s not it
The lack of empathy is pretty accurate not just parent to child but across board. They wouldn’t kill each other over qabil or hunt each other down if they had empathy. Or they wouldn’t force a battered wife to return to her abusive husband. Or force a teenager to marry 60yr old man. Or leave their children in diaspora to marry back home. Or marry 2nd wives in diaspora in secret. Or allow their family to live in housing assistance while working. They wouldn’t have shown favoritism between sons and daughters. They wouldn’t verbally abuse or use habar as a tool to control children...etc! Lack of empathy and narcissism is huge within Somalis, rampant!

Im closer with my mums side of the family my dads side of the family they're very cold we don't even talk unless we contact them they will never contact us
