Are there still lions, leopards, cheetahs, wolves and hyenas out and about in Somalia wilderness?

My awoowe used to tell me back in the days where he used to look after the camels etc. he often heard lion roars at night back in the 1960s in the outskirts of Hargeisa.
Lions used to attack livestocks especially camels

The wild life is slowly coming back for instance cheetahs and graffs , but the hyenas never left for some reason . Also there a lot of Ostrich that are coming back also. My grandmother told me stories about when her grand grandfather was a live there was animal that resembled a bear in Somali. We have lost a lot of wildlife due to our own conflicts. I did some research this bear is called an atlas bear and it was in northern Somali peninsula in 1800s

Yes. Especially hyenas. You would hear them screaming in the nighttime. I had to make sure I was inside before it became very dark. No way I was gonna get hurt by one.
