I read somewhere that Egyptians are related to Somali people, especially those front Puntland. I’m not sure how accurate this is

Linguistically: Somalis belong to different sub-sub-sub-family langugage of the big Afro-Asiatic family.
Egyptian language has its own sub family language. LOOK AT THIS

A sense of pride, coming from such glorious people
better us claiming them than West Africans who don’t even speak Afro asiatic languages, yet somehow claim Ancient Egyptians with a straight face 
Somali genetic marker originates in egypt so I would not be surprised at all if we are related.
