Teknikos are not worth it in the thick vegetation of Jubba Hoose. Notice how the AS fighters are all infantry, they're using the bushes and tall grass as cover as they rain hell on the better-equipped JL soldiers. Somalia needs a drone fleet to deal with these bastards.

The issue is that AS are bushcraft men. AS stay out in the baadiye, waiting for the city boy forces to walk into their traps. Given Somalia's tech level, it would be best to use insurgent-style militia against these AS fighters. Macawiisley fighters come to mind when I think of an example.

Replacing a problem with a bigger one. The real solution is to solve the reason for them justifying thier existence with cutting relationships with the usa, securing the borders (so they can't recruit more people anymore) and building a real army and assaulting them with tanks artillery etc take all the towns they have away from them.

I have also thought of that possibility. I doubt it though. They have done too much damage to be forgiven easily. Not to mention if the FGS did that the international community would be completely against it. Additionally AS would be negotiating in a place of power since the FGS would be suing for peace.
