He does realize that if he wishes to keep this anarchy he'll be the worst president of all time. A man has to have some plans for the nation and if he has half a brain that should include pushing AS into being non-existent. Even if he wished to keep them around at least put in the work to push them far from Xamar and into a small contained area of southern Somalia.

I suppose I'm being too generous thinking any of the current somali politicians consider legacy. But even as a man I think there's something in our blood that makes us want to leave something behind for our youths, I'm always confused when I run into folk who don't have that drive.

A while ago a lot of businessman lost their lives, and now we've gotten to the point were houses are being targeted....AS are doing this to show that the government is weak and can't protect the citizens after giving them orders to install cctv cameras.
If the Gov backs down then their authority will be questioned even further, unfortunately it looks like the only ones who will suffer are the citizens of Xamar.

I’m sure the so-called gov also makes money from selling these systems or someone with connections to the gov has a contract to sell them hence they feel little regard for citizens safety in installing it.
