AS Retreat To Bay And Bakool After Defeat In Middle Shabeele

If they captured any AS territory they'd show videos of left behind amunition+AS hideouts ect. AS has videos of captured cities, fgs soldiers and weopanry. We havent seen that level of transparency from the FGS as of yet. :manny:

The point of having ATMIS is really useless. Those soldiers get paid 2k$ and eat well.

It's a cash cow. They never want this to end, I even heard some them have undercover agreements with AS. Like don't touch us in our bases, and we will let you do whatever you want in the towns. Some i've heard even sell them weapons or have charcoal agreements as we used to hear in Kismayo with the Kenyan forces.

Another way of milking the west, getting military training and funding...and most importantly diverting potential coups/disgruntlement of their soldiers.

These same soldiers would be staging coups/rebel groups in Uganda/Burundi/Ethiopia/Kenya 100%

Drones came in clutch for FGS

As I have stated before, Im against the use of airstrikes in civilian areas. Nonetheless, these strikes have had frightening effect on AS leadership if FGS sources are true.

All of sh/dhexe, Galmudug and sh/hoose needs to be free of AS. This cat and mouse game there needs to stop, especially in sh/dhexe and GM. Eradicate the terrorist and bring the allied subclans to the table.
There are no civilians in alshabaab areas, I would suggest they give them 24 hours amnesty to leave then carpet bomb the entire place all villages, poision water supply etc, chemical gas. There is no other way to get rid of alshaabab except maximum force.

So the solution is to damage civilian property, businesses, livelihoods and potential life to win against a group that has been active for 15+ years in Southern Somalia and most likely has foreign origins/backing. Can the incompetant governement ensure that AS do not resurface after their bombing campaign. What guarantees do the civilans have. We must ask ourselves, in what way do indicriminate bombings and devastation of infrastructure make the FGS any different from AS, and how can the governement retain civilian support if they resort to said measures.

The only trustworthy man says that Hassan’s sheikhs progress against AS from 2 years ago has been reversed f (encirclement of AS has been broken). And that they have captured a route to Mogadishu which is key to FGS for them to stop IED’s from entering the city.

Useless masses dont matter. What matters is securing a stable future for the next generations. When we look at grand things the masses where never part of that equation it was only a certain handful of committed people. Creatures who eat and sleep and have no care for building a functioning society have no right to decide the future of anything besides they choose to live under AS.

I highly agree with this part here:

“The militants have been intruding these area from Basra (north of Mogadishu) and Gendershe area (southwest of Mogadishu) for years. To portray this as a fresh “advance” towards Mogadishu is premature.”

People don’t realise that sh*bab have always had a presence in all the towns near xamar. Ceelasha biyaha, afgoye and wanlaweyn.
