Yeah my mom was married to my dad (somali) and she divorced him bcuz he wasn’t good. Anyway she had 2 kids and thought we needed a dad so she wanted to get remarried, at this point she didn’t care if he was somali or not. She married a revert muslim korean-american. My moms in her fourties so don’t think shes those crazy kpop xalimos. She kept telling me “waa shiniis” but he’s mixed north/south korean. He been my dad for 10 years now

Omg I’ve never heard this before? A family friend married a Japanese lady, but he’s in his 20s and that’s the only Somali Asian couple I can think of lol. Yeah I think she was okay around asians mainly because my area has alot of indonesian/malysian muslims, plus most of my birth dads friends were apparently Vietnamese, so she didn’t think badly of asians

My step dad is from America so he speaks english. Aside from that they both speak in arabic since him studying arabic and studying in the ME is what made him convert, my mom lived in yemen.
