I think it’s not genetics; it’s going to the neighborhood barber shop and them spraying harsh chemicals in your hair. Also, I’ve seen plenty of Somali guys wearing caps, which doesn’t let your scalp breathe. There are a lot of factors we are not taking into account. For instance, some people damage their hair follicles by using those wave brushes.

These type of brush are not made for our hair types and they tend to strip the hair follicles from your scalp and this leads to young people becoming bald.

It can happen as early as 18. Just grow your hair out and cover your hairline. I stopped getting haircuts 3 years ago and just use scissors to shorten my hair when it grows too long.

I've seen some young somalis irl with bad genes . Their hairlines started to recede at 17. I know 2 guys that went bald at 25 too.

Also there's a difference between having a high hairline and having a receding one. A lot of these niggas with receding hairlines never go bald. Hence why ajnabis think we got the biggest foreheads in all of Africa .
