Gadabuursi should have joined Djibouti in my opinion. The two Dir brothers complement each other quite well, best farm lands in the region coupled with the best port in the region. But the cursed British made borders divide them.
And I'm sure Gadabuursi have a huge population in Djibouti already and are some of the biggest traders there.

Most Samaroon are more than content with actually being part of Somaliland. We've invested too much into Somaliland. I honestly can say with full confidence, the whole Awdal State fantasy was concocted in order to gain more concessions. Samaroon is forever invested in the idea of Somaliland. I do however support that if Dhulbahante are not happy for them to join Somalia. That should be upto them.

Geri Koombe should have joined Djibouti aswell. Actually Awdal, Sitti, Fafan, East Hararghe and Waqooyi Galbeed should've formed one country. Two primary ports at Berbera and Djibouti. Similar dhaqan even 50-60% of Ciise have become settled urban dwellers.
