Why do Muslims have to go and beg the west to solve all their problems despite the west not having their best interest at heart? It's shameful tbh, it's as if they are a bunch of incompetent people who are not able to function as human beings. I VIVIDLY remember watching that with my mom, she just had a meltdown in the middle of nowhere. It was probably the craziest thing we have ever seen a somali person do on tv to date. I think she got over it though.

I generally am anti the anti fgm movement duchess, it's exploitative and hasn't been effective so far. Our FGM rate according to them has been at 99.9% for 30 years. How much more 'talking about it' and calling it barbaric will we need?

I'm against it too and agree that it's exploitative but I meant this video in particular. I don't see the ceeb in it. I thought it was done as respectfully as possible. They didn't insult Somalis or blame Somali men. Rather, they detailed their own experiences, the attitudes towards FGM during their youth, and explained why they're against FGM now.

Sorry duchess abaayo I'll be honest I couldn't watch an ayeeyo somali talk about those kinds of things, I'll take your word for it.

I think those stats are completely off, but I've been called privileged for my view. It's hard for me to believe that little somali girls in the west are going to get that done. I'm going to do a poll to see how sspot differs from the stats Nimko and her crew keep going on about.

It would still be infactuallly incorrect . Here is study conducted by an Italian gynecologist and her Somali husband

in a recent publication by Lucrezia Catania (Catania et al. 2007), an Italian obstetrician and gynaecologist who runs a clinic with her Somali husband in Italy that is frequented by mainly Somali immigrants. According to the study, the findings ‘suggest, without doubt, that healthy “mutilated/circumcised” women who did not suffer grave long-term complications and who have a good and fulfilling relationship may enjoy sex and have no negative impact on psychosexual life (fantasies, desire and pleasure, ability to experience orgasm)’. Catania’s findings were also interesting in that, in comparison with her Italian control group, infibulated Somali women reported greater frequency of orgasms.

So somali women according to this Enjoyed a very healthy sex life and had greater frequencies of orgasms.There are more studies done by gyneacologists that comfirm this. Really contradicting this myth of sexual dysfuntion.
