Beautiful Dannood

A beautiful lakeside town. The largest of the Doollo lakes. This region is the best grazing land in all of Somaliweyn. It's also dotted with many lakes and most of the famous towns and cities are lakeside. There are no mosquitos or snakes in this region and the weather is pleasant year round, not as cold as the highlands, nor as hot as the coast or the humid south.

The birth place of the great 19th century poet Cali Oday. It's also the birth place of the greatest poet of the 20th century Qaryaan Dhoodaan
