Beesha hy is saying this because they are pro Ethiopia and are afraid of what the xabashi will do to their folk (set the liyuu on them). Only pro Ethiopians are against this base by our Muslim brothers. Thankfully Berbera isn't their city. I propose arming those folk in hawd against the liyuu

Not true. We are just against the Sunni vs Shia conflict spilling over to Somaliland. Either way if Berbera is burned to the ground by

If the people of Berbera get killed by shia then they are shuhadaa. Either way we must see what the UAE is offering and then weigh if the risks are worth the rewards.
Somaliland should not facilitate, take sides or fight in Arab-Persian/Sunni-Shia wars. UAE will get a base in Berbera over our dead bodies. I'm glad my adeers took this position.

This has more to do with the Egypt/UAE-Ethiopia rivalry than the shia-sunni civil war in Yemen. Egyptian troops will be allowed to use the Berbera base and Ethiopia sees that as a potential threat to it's interests.
The military deal is actually a very cunning political move by the Somaliland government. It'll make the two countries play against one another for influence. Right now Somaliland is aligned to closely to Ethiopia to the point of it being a disadvantage. This deal will help balance the relationship.

They will kill you, and the Arabs who cannot even defend themselves surely won't defend you. You are forgetting it's not no petty Arab dispute. The masters of the Arabian peninsula, who are Persians and not Arabs, conquered Iraq, Syria, Iran, Lebanon, Egypt, Bahrain, Oman and soon Yemen. They've already began their mission in Nigeria, and have converted 10 million Bantus since 1980.
If you involve yourself in their business, then you will go down like Saudi Arabia will in due time. This is not even talking about Ethiopia, who you are dependent on for water, electricity, food, your culture and almost everything.

I'd be down for that if there was a gaurentee we wouldnt get caught up in the fighting.
Also I don't like the idea of rich and perverted single Arab men on our soil. Women generally make poor decisions, on top of that our women are poor. Seems to me a recipe for disaster if u catch my drift.
