The police officer had a duty of care. He was responsible for his safety after the arrest. The idea that a police officer should be allowed to execute someone because of bad history is hard to justify. The issue is not what Floyd did in the past but how the officer handle the situation. Even after being told his not breathing he continued to block his Airways intentionally
