The road hasn't even been used by vehicles and iss self-destructing looooooooool, imagine when it 'rains'. Low quality road loooooooooool. This is a foreign built road, their foreign built berbera port must be low class also.

As funny as it is this kind of thing happens. I wouldn't be concerned if the failures are isolated to that one location.

Old mate reckons they the hot mix get cold before paving.

In my not so expert opinion, the underlying pavement has failed. This can happen since ground conditions can be variable along the road. You can find these soft spots with a proof roll (drive a heavy truck on the surface and look for deflection) for treatment before paving.

The beauty of this project is DP World (UAE) are driven by profit and so their only goal is to make this corridor work in order to make their money back on their investments and turn a profit.
Keep in mind the port is making a loss as the current operation capacity is less than 20% and also heavy investment.

Profit is the strongest incentives and that factor alone will make sure the corridor will be a success.

InshaaAllah more foreign direct investment comes.On that note warehouses are being built for the free trade zone.

As the fund for the road came from a UAE Aid fund source I wish it was open competition bidding.

As the current contractors are slow and clearly there are issues.

Imagine if they gave the project to some Chinese construction company
